From American Idol to The Beast Awakens with James Durbin

From American Idol to The Beast Awakens with James Durbin

James Durbin & I have a conversation about how he coped with 2020, his 1st brews, the soundtrack to his youth, what he learnt on American Idol, how he lured Zakk Wylde on Idol, being a spokesperson for Autism & Tourette's Syndrome, his late night adventures with Chris Jericho, his time with Quiet Riot, why he left Quiet Riot, The Beast Awakens, if he has ever listened to extreme metal, touring backyards & his hangover cure.

Throughout this interview, James was drinking Sierra Nevada 's "Hazy Little Thing IPA" while I enjoyed Le Bazaar - Brasserie Artisanale inc.'s "Wow". This Non-Alcoholic NEIPA it poured out with a light veiled haze, radiated pineapple on the nose, it slammed a lightly sweet somewhat tangy finish & it is ultra refreshing. It is quite a unique brew & it is absolutely delicious.

This is a Heavy Montreal presents Vox&Hops episode! Heavy Montreal is Montreal's premier metal promoter. They host one of North America's best Metal Festivals & present countless amazing events during the rest of the year. I am truly honored & extremely excited to have them involved in the podcast.

Make sure to check out Vox&Hops' Brewtal Awakenings Playlist which has been curated by the Metal Architect Jerry Monk himself on either Spotify or Apple Music. This playlist is packed with all the freshest, sickest & most extreme albums each week!!!
