Etienne Turcotte (Vox Populi & Pixel)

A conversation about how he started brewing beer, how Vox Populi began, staying true to the quality of your products, his time contract brewing, his new project Pixel, what's next for craft beer, if he is a metalhead & what he listens to when he brews. Throughout this interview we were drinking Microbrasserie Vox Populi's Session Fruit Punch IPA. It is the softer, younger sister of their classic Double Fruit Punch IPA. It was just as fruity, drinkable and as hoppy as the DFP IPA but at a much safer 4.4% ABV. This episode was recorded at Festival Bières et Saveurs de Chambly in Chambly Quebec.

A conversation about joining HateSphere, his favourite part of touring, crazy food he has eaten, "Afterlife" HateSpehere's beer, his first experience with alcohol, the soundtrack to his youth, getting sick whilst on tour & Copenhagen's craft beer scene. This interview was conducted in Copenhagen Denmark and the beer that we drank was "Afterlife". This Imperial Stout was created the Fluxxus Brewing Company from Copenhagen in honour of HateSphere's 10th album. It was a boozy, decadent & chocolaty delight that clocks in at 11.7% ABV.

Throughout this interview we were drinking Bières Jukebox's brand new Imperial Stout aptly called "Black Metal". It was a dark, chocolatey & boozy experience.
